We've seriously got to discuss our 3rd quarter woes. What is Ime and this team even doing during halftime, drinking some wine/alcohol?  :P

Lol kidding but it's bizarre to me how you can come out and be atrocious like every 3rd. Been the case most of this postseason too. 38-24 in Game 1, then 35-14 tonight. Probably got a bit lucky we had the 40-16 4th in Game 1 but otherwise that's been the story this series.

either we're failing to make adjustments at halftime while the other team makes good adjustments,  or our adjustments just suck

Or it’s just random.  We were the best third quarter team in the NBA during the regular season, and it was our best quarter of all quarters.  It was also our best quarter during the Nets series.

Playoff Cs are 13-2 in games with 15 TOs or less and 0-5  in games with more.

Thank you. I thought I remembered us being excellent in third quarters all season long. No idea what is going on with us the last few series in the third quarter.

Is there a chance that this team is young and gets confident at half time?

What about the idea that we just faced three of the best coaches in the NBA (Bud, Spo, Kerr) that were coming up with great adjustments.

Or the idea that we've had a couple bad third quarters and while they stand out, they're actually more of an exception than a rule?

Didn't we have 3rd quarter struggles pre-January when we were losing games left and right lol. Sounds like it's reverting back to those old habits

Not really.  We were 4th in the league in 3rd quarter net rating from the opener through NYE.  Not quite as good as the full-year number, but the basketball was generally solid, especially considering the overall performance of the team.

LOL I woke up this morning and legit thought Game 3 was tonight and went about the morning feeling it was. Was kind of surprised to come here and not see a GDT posted for Game 3, and then I realized it's actually tomorrow. Ugh still a long wait, nearly 36 hours

Excited about tonight. Hope the guys bring it and for once do well at home from start to finish. Here's how the scene looks:

C's now 7-0 after a loss in the postseason. And they definitely could have folded after that GSW 10-0 run to take a 83-82 lead in the 3rd, but they didn't and instead finished on a 34-17 run.

This team is resilient!

I really hope they come out with a sense of urgency in Game 4. Obviously no one can win the series in Game 4, but boy if Boston can take Game 4 they are 1000% in the drivers seat to win it all. Treat it like a Game 7 and protect homecourt!

Yep. But I’d prefer they win it all in 6. Not impossible but I really don’t want them to have to win a road Game 7. It’ll be a lot tougher to do than against Miami last round. They still have HCA, just win the next two at home and you’re champs

Lets just win the next two. As much as I'd like the C's to celebrate it at home, just celebrate it in San Francisco in Game 5. After all, the Warriors do tend to get eliminated at home in the Finals  ;D
