He's being released. Does he have anything left in the tank? I haven't watched his play this year. Could the Cs assure him 15 mins a night behind Grant?

He's looked really bad this season.  I'm not sure what happened.

He’d be an upgrade to Bruno Fernando on the roster, but I don’t think he’d be a regular.

I think he's cooked at this point.  He's still a decent defender in spot minutes but that's it, really.  Not a rotation player anymore.

Any time a contender releases a veteran I think that tells you the guy is cooked.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I thought most of his troubles were with Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge. There wasn't enough room for a 3rd old man in the rotation. Too slow.

I don't know what the heck they were thinking believing those 3 slow footed old guys could play together and it wouldn't harm their defense or transition game. Millsap's offense is limited these days as well.

They were much better when they were putting quickness and shooters alongside Durant rather than old men who can't run anymore.

He's washed. The last thing this team needs is to use a roster spot on a washed vet that either won't play or will get minutes that ought to be used on younger players.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

In general, I'd disagree.  I think there's value in having a veteran presence that can provide wisdom and leadership.  If financial considerations didn't matter, I'd rather have Milsap than Fernando or Bol, etc.

But, financial considerations do play a role, and there's no way we're cutting a guaranteed salary to add Milsap.

A few seasons too late. He would have been a good option at the 4 spot. Also, a notorious Cs killer.

Maybe better than Enes in some situations?
