Less than 4 mins in the 4th quarter and no Harden? Interesting..

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

This isn't exclusive to the Nets, but they have a Giannis problem.  They can't even pretend to slow him down.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Nets don’t look unbeatable at this point…..they are old and injury prone …..I don’t expect them to be a lot better mid or late season …..they are what they are now IMO.

Their season may be in the hands (or non-vaccinated arm) of a legitimate headcase.

I don't think Kyrie makes much difference against the Bucks.  They just can't stop Giannis.  They have no one even capable of really trying.  It was I picked the Bucks last year, and why I believe the Bucks will again be crowned NBA champion.  Giannis is just an unstoppable force.  I think he rates up there with prime Shaq and Wilt on the meter of difficulty to defend.  He is just that good and the Nets are just terrible defensively.  The Nets could certainly outscore the Bucks as they almost did last year, but they are going to have to win shootouts against them because Giannis will do whatever he wants against the Nets (and pretty much most of the league).

This Lakers team just looks so awkward together.

I think that's the Nets strategy, and it's the right one for their roster:  just pour in as many points as possible and hope that nobody else can keep up.  It worked surprisingly well last year, even without their top-three in many games together.

Pretty bogus the refs let AD blatantly push off with his off arm right in front of them with no call.

This announcer sounds just like Marv Albert. It’s really bizarre.

Poole is just dominating out there. His first step on the drive is lightning fast, and the old Lakers can't keep up.

Game is close enough for the refs to get the Lakers the win.
