Smart next!

Keep on trading Brad, u ain’t made a bad move yet

Smarts not going anywhere for now. If he really stinks it up as the full time PG, maybe he gets moved at the trade deadline. All Brad and Ime have done is say how much Marcus means to the team and how important he is.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Why do we want any of these guys?

Dunn I kinda like but he is too much next to Marcus Smart. You can't have both of those guys playing regular minutes your backcourt. Too poor offensively.

Bruno Fernandes is not an NBA player. Atlanta were begging for a backup center these last two years and he could not make the grade.

A second round pick? Who the hell cares!

I would've rather just kept Tristan Thompson.

We got a MLE-sized TPE as a result. That could be the real prize, given what we've seen with guys like Plumlee

You won't get jack for him at the trade deadline, and you risk losing him as a FA.

Either extend Smart or trade him. If you trade him, you have someone very similar now at a much lower price in Dunn (IF healthy). If you extend Smart, you can trade him at your convenience or keep him.

Haha. I disagree, but I found this quite funny.

Seems like he’s behind Smart, Dunn, and Richardson, and will have to hold off Langford to remain 4th in the guard rotation.

I can't imagine a less complementary 4th G rotation than Smart/Dunn/Richardson/Langford. Smart or Dunn have to go. I love Smart but with this moves I hope Ball or so is coming.

Yeah that is a lot of bad shooting percentages there.  A lot of great def, but shooting / scoring sucks.

I doubt he’s behind Dunn. We need one point guard who can shoot

Went on BBReference and noticed Bruno Fernando's full name:

Bruno Afonso David Fernandes Fernando

That's a mouthful.

Barring a second player named "Bruno" coming in via trade...I'm going to stick with "Bruno."

Feels like Yam Madur is not going to get a roster spot with this trade, unless he blows staff away in summer league.  Too much PG depth suddenly. Unless they have designs to move Smart, which I seriously doubt.

Brad really seems intent on rebuilding the team around defense and length.  That is what Ime has been emphasizing. I think re-establishing a tough defensive identity will really help us get our swagger back. And also improve our offense, especially on transition.

Love what Big Brad is doing.  Establishing an identity with Roster moves. What a concept.
