The list is in alphabetical order. Didn't include players like KAT or Jokic, Luka etc, cause I don't think they are realistic targets (not yet anyway in the case of KAT). Some players on the list aren't exactly ''stars'', but I wanted to include plenty of options in the poll.

Feel free to name other players as well if you think they are at least semi-realistic targets this offseason.

Honorable mention: John Collins. Didn't include him, cause the Hawks made the ECF. I bet they'll just re-sign him. Not to mention, according to rumors the Hawks were asking for Brown at the trade deadline.

I find it very difficult to narrow it down to just one. I think both Siakam and Brogdon would be amazing fits next to the Jays. Near perfect actually.

However, given likelihood, I am happy to settle for Beal ;D

Talent is a thing - it's very clearly Lillard to me.

team needs a willing passer who can play elite defense with size. They don’t come more willing than Ben…lol

Simmons will be great addition to the Jays….elite defense, nice size, excellent playmaker. Willing passer on a team of ball hogs. That defense with the three of them.

D'oh, I didn't even see Lillard - only saw Love!

He's the choice. That offence is Brooklyn-level unstoppable

Fair enough, I should have allowed multiple votes per user, instead of just one. Feel free to activate that option if you will. I'm not allowed to change it after posting the poll. Perhaps you can do it as a mod.

If we have JB JT and Smart on the roster, i would have to go with a versatile big guy like Siakam

Ikr. I don't think our offence would be Nets-level, but it'd still be a historically noteworthy one and our defence will probably be considerably better than the Nets'.

Ideally we would add a big that can run the offense, so Jokic (basically prime Horford on steroids as far as fit goes). For players that are available, I really don't see anyone in that mold, so I'd have to go with the best player on the list, which is clearly Dame.

If I had any confidence in Simmons ever figuring out his shot (or I guess gaining a shot; he doesn't have one to "figure out") I'd go with him, but I honestly don't see that ever happening.
I'm bitter.

Im not sure another ball dominant player will jell with the J's. They have clearly established a pecking order that they don't want interrupted. After all, it didn't work with either Kyrie or Hayward.

Someone would have to play the "Harden" roll and we know neither of the J's are capable of that. If Ben Simmons could get his game in order and become reliable from the free throw line he could make this team take-off.

Defense would become a thing again with its switch-ability, ball movement would improve, along with pace, he could also be used in the paint too. He would be left to simply play his game.

Fournier as good or better than at least half the guys on that list. Goes to show how the grass is always greener…

It is hard to respond directly to the poll.  It includes top of the game players at some positions (Beal, Lillard) but not at others (best bigs are players like Markkanen, Porzingis, Wood) who are certainly not top of the game at their positions.

Clearly Beal or Lillard are better talents than Markkanen or Porzingis but we would be much better served by adding a skilled big to the team over adding another wing/guard.  If you ask me if I rather have Beal or Markkanen, it is hard to pick the big.  That is why I don't feel the poll is fair.

If we got Beal or Lillard, it would probably cost Brown.  To get Markkanen or Porzingis, it probably costs us Smart and Thompson at most.  If we were able to bet Beal or Lillard and keep Brown, I would be immediately trying to trade Brown for Sabonis or Towns as Brown would no longer be the ideal star to play next to Tatum and Beal/Lillard.

He was the best player in that Olympic game today.
