  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
BREAKING:  The Celtics and Spurs are very engaged in trade talks revolving around Dejounte Murray.  The deal would most likely include Tristian Thompson, Romeo Langford, Grant Williams, and one or more first-round picks, sources tell the Athletic.

I think we give up way to much in this deal.

What do you guys think?

That's a fake account.

But I'd do that deal in a heartbeat.

It depends on the picks we give up, of course.  But I wouldn't be broken-hearted about losing any of those players, really.  Thompson is a negative on the court.  G Williams had a pretty miserable second season.  And Langford's best-case outcome is probably... well... Dejounte Murray.

It is kind of vague about the possible picks but just in terms of Thompson, GWilliams, and Langford for Murray, that is a good trade for us.  Thompson is totally expendable with Horford on the team (and Moses Brown) and GWilliams is an easily replaced end of the bench depth guy (or should be).  Langford is a promising prospect but one who has not done much and depending on how many picks and what protections, getting Murray is a nice add to help us now.  Again, depending on the picks, I like it.
