What's next?

I dunno. A fast car?

Brad looks like he's having a midlife crisis and grasping on to past success with these return hires :D

Anyway, I'm here for it. It's fun.

Nothing

Team is set

If centers are relatively healthy, Richardson goes back to Heat days form, youngsters take a noticeable step forward and Udoka is nominated as COY

Team could go very far

Iím still waiting for all the shoes to drop. I understand the plan as it sits. Save money for B Beal I would like to see plan B. NBA players and everyone else can be very fickle, k Irving is an example. I still would like to see a deal with Sacramento. Hield and Bagley for for Horford and Smart. This would preserve salary cap for 2022. This is a bridge year according to most. Worst case scenario we get a better draft pick.

Oh No , E Kanter
Not the worst as injury insurance.

He also defends the post better than Al or Timelord. Good locker room guy. Donít hate it.
Yes. As I recall, held his own better than one would expect against Embiid, for instance.
Heís a legitimately good post defender

Why do you think Celtics will have the nerves to trade Horford?

Noon today is the date that things can start to happen right?  Isn't that when we should hear what has become of the SAC-ATL-BOS trade?  That was reported as a done deal, and then it wasn't.  Since then, ATL has signed Collins and we have traded Moses Brown.  Not sure if that changes anything.  If it is still just Thompson for Dunn and Fernando, that is not so exciting.

Would really be quite disappointing if it just ends up TT for Dunn & Fernando. I want fireworks

What type of player are you hoping for?

I'm hoping that Sacramento adds Bagley to the deal, other than Kyle Anderson there aren't many players I want who would match salaries on expiring contracts. Since Brad isn't signing players for longer than one year the Celtics are limited in who they can take back. I know a move like Bagley would push the C's into the tax but it's not like they will be paying the tax next year.

DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Realistically Bagley would be a good reclamation project. Good offensive big man who wants out. Similar story with Markannen, but don't see how he'd fit into this deal.

Slow-Mo fits the 'flexibility' guideline. Ironically, I would have liked Delon Wright for TT

Before the off-season began the two trade targets for Thompson I liked most were Delon Wright and Josh Richardson. That would be great if Wright were re-routed to Boston in the final deal.

I have no problems trading Horford , I do remember him leaving for Philly. He was brought back for his contract. not for old times sake. Someday he wants to retire here I have no problem. If we could get Bagley and Hield Iím all on board
