I'm disappointed that Grant Williams isn't going.  That guy should be getting as much organized basketball time as possible.
what does this have to do with the summer league?  ;D

There's actually some good games in the summer league if you never been or watched.  I was fortunate in 2018 to be in Vegas and saw some good action.  I think Williams might have benefited in being there this year, specially after the year he had last year.

My favorite summer league memory is when the Celtics and Lakers squared off in 2017. Jayson Tatum vs Lonzo Ball.

The place was packed with screaming Laker fans. The rivalry extends to summer league.

Celtics win 86-81.

Aric Holman, 6'10" Center from Mississippi State has been added to the C's summer league.  Spent last year in Germany playing for ratiopharm Ulm.

Summer league will not help any of these players

Langford is a bust plays to slow
Edwards lol
Pritchard is undersized end of bench depth at best

Far as Williams he is undersized as well

Dime a dozen players who will not get better

Not sure I agree with your assessment.  Romeo has shown some of his worth in his limited time when he was healthy.  Aaron was just beginning to "get it" at the end of the year.  I think we have two very good rotation players there.  Carsen?  Ba-Bye!  Williams, still not ready to give up, but he has to make strides this year.

If your talking about Grant, his strides were backwards this year in everything save shooting.

Very lazy assessments. Just for an example, Pritchard was already better than an “end of bench” player as a rookie on a playoff team.

5 games total including single play off game.  Seems like there were more games in prior Vegas summer leagues.  Maybe because the changed the play off format?

It used to be set up so that every team played a minimum of five games, but the top teams could get up to 6 or 7 if they advanced far enough.  My guess is the shortened offseason (games in August instead of July) played a part in limiting games.

According to Stevens it is:
Madar
Pritchard
Langford
Edwards
Nesmith
Brown

Begarin is questionable.  Presumably also Sam Hauser, who we just added to a 2-way, and not Waters, who’s looking for other opportunities.

Brown I assume is Moses Brown?  If true, that is great, I had not seen that previously confirmed.  He is what we have for our #16 draft pick except on a much friendlier contract.  I love seeing him get the chance to run with Pritchard, Langford, Nesmith, etc.  It is his chance to show he can play like a first round pick.  And also get to work with the Celtics' coaches in actual game situations.  Let's see if he goes for 20/20 in any summer league games.  He has already done more in the NBA than any of the actual first round picks.

Yep, Brown being Moses.  Confirmed via the Celtics official Twitter feed.
