Tomorow americans friends you will again fear the dancing bear. Apparently Yabu may start in french :) Poirier will also sub Gobert and of course Fournier will be our offensive 1st option. Good luck to you.

Yabuselle... Another Danny Ainge special... 6’6” PF/C who had very little upside. Still can’t believe they drafted him at #16 overall while passing on Siakam(who they even worked out prior to the draft!), Malcolm Brogdon, Malik Beasley, Caris Lavert, Dejounte Murray, Zubac. Also took Zizic at 22 and of the above mentioned, only Beasley and Lavert were drafted ahead of him. SMH.... :-\

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

My understanding of that was they didn't want to bring in any salary (Eurostash) with the first round picks. Which is a terrible strategy anyway, we should have traded them then.

But Yabu will always have a place in my heart. He was a jolly fat man in the NBA

Danny wanted to save salary for the upcoming free agency of KD which didn't worked out either. If it did, we wouldn't even talk about how this was a wasted pick.

No need to dig up that old trauma ;D

Imagine how differently KD would be regarded if he had come here. He'd probably have the same amount of rings...

Better start for team USA so far.

Fournier looking great for France. He’s their leading scorer so far.

This is a real fun game. It feels a bit all-star-ish. But an ACTUAL game. And one side only has like 3 people I know hahaha

USA slowly starting to figure out how to be physical. And that they have the best talent/athleticism. And that they need to use said super-powers. As in, ACTUALLY work hard.

I've mentioned this before, but I think the difference between basketball during the original "dream team" days and now, isn't talent.

It's effort levels. And the NEED to win.

Team USA has no size. It’s amazing that there are no true good American centers. France is giving USA fits with their two big man lineup of Poirier and Gobert.

Blame the AAU and NCAA for their greed. Most college programs are focused on making the final four than developing players, especially the bigs

Why not put McGee in there? Wasn’t that the purpose of bringing him on the roster?

Funny how Poirer can actually impose his physicality on international competition.

What a collapse.

Team USA has no answer for when teams go big.
