I don't see that happening, It more sentimental than anything else.  He is not the same player.

Would he even want to come here?  In his last season with the Celtics he was an MVP candidate and had visions in his head that he'd be offered some huge contract by the team and then he got traded.  Now he'd be coming back playing for what is likely some kind of minimum contract.  That would suck.

I loved IT while he was with the C’s, but that ship has sailed. He’s not NBA material anymore and couldn’t catch on with a team for more than a 10 day contract. We just traded away one small guard who was a liability on defense, not interested in bringing another one in.
