Has anyone asked Jaylen Brown, how many female NBA coaches are still in the playoffs this year? This valuable information will help with my choice with the poll.

Woj points out that Ime has received high reviews from C’s players who played in FIBA (Smart, Brown, and Tatum).

IMO, this probably makes him the favorite.

Yeah, probably.

I’m really surprised Cassell has not been mentioned. He seems like the perfect candidate to me.

Rick Carlisle just became available.
Hard to believe the Cs will not take a look at Carlisle.
…he is by far the best coach available.  By far!

When I heard the news, my first thought was "welcome back to Beantown"! I actually think he's the unsung favorite right now.

I do not think Carlisle is the type of coach for this team right now. I do think he is a good coach but maybe more for a veteran team as opposed to the team currently in Boston.

I expect he is being quiet while the 76 are still play n ball .

plus…..whomever gets Sam has good ties to Beal

It would be a huge Coupe for C’s to land Sam ….you know the kids would like him,,  he is a winner no matter what he does .

My preference would be Nate McMillan if the Hawks screw up and don’t seal the deal to lock him up after this season.  It’s kind of crazy he still has the interim tag after what he’s done since taking over.

But of the assistant coach options, I think my top choice is Ime Udoka.  That he is a known quantity to our stars from their time in the World Cup is a good thing.  And his long-time tutelage under Pops is good enough credentials for a first-timer.

They have all been a part of a Championship team either as a player or coach.

Tatum and Brown is the foundation of a Championship team, the right head coach, coaching staff, and role players will complete that vision.

In Cassell's last year with the Celtics when he wasn't playing and was effectively an assistant coach, I remember players raving about him.  They also showed a lot of respect for him when he arrived the season before.  He now has 10+ years of experience.  He's my guy.

I think it will be Billups or Cassell but why did Carlisle up and leave the Mavs. Where will he go? Indiana?

I'm sold on Udoka. Apparently he is the architect of the Nets D this season.

Just hire the guy and call it a day
