While a shell of his former self, he is very likely to be bought out at the deadline, would be motivated to help a team in the playoffs, and would be great pick up.  We should start the recruiting now and cheer for him when Charlotte comes to the Garden.

Even if he were bought out, I think he'd prefer another team where he might still have a slightly bigger role. I doubt he'd get much of that in Boston now. Funny enough, I think he'd be better off on a team like MIL or PHI even as like a 6th or 7th man for them, and he'd still have a bigger role for them than here

i think with the new rules we can’t sign someone who is bought out of a contract that large, i could be mistaken though, or maybe it doesn’t apply til next year
