0 PG’s to start, 2 PG’s off the bench?

Interesting move by Coach in this game. We essentially play 3 threes (Smart, Brown, Tatum) to start the game and then we play our two PG’s together off the bench.

At first I was like “what the hell are we doing?!” But it’s tough to argue against it in a game where JT and JB combine for 16 assists.  It may not be the most effective rotation in the short run, but I love what it’s doing for JT and JB’s development as playmakers.

Come playoff time though, please give me a starting 5 of PP, MS, JB, JT, and TT.

Smart is a combo guard. He isn't great at either SG or PG, but he can do both at an above average level, when you consider both offensive and defensive play. Heck, he's versatile enough to play the 3, too.
