Probably will never see him like most 2nd rounders who plays overseas

Naw... this one feels different

How great can his basketball career/ambitions be at the Israel league?

this is lifted from SoSH:

Chad Ford made a couple of nominally interesting points regarding Yam on his podcast with Brad Rowland recapping the Celtics draft. First he said that Madar had a lot of interest around the league, and Rowland agreed, then he said that Madar was "insisting" that he's coming over right away. This was before the Tacko and Waters two-ways, so now that those are off the table, it seems certain that he'll stay in Israel, and it also would've required a buyout as he's under contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv for two more years, but it was interesting to hear that he wanted to come over immediately. I play (or used to, in the Time Before) pick up with an Israeli guy who played over there and is still pretty plugged in to Israeli hoops so I'll have to pick his brain if we get back on the court any time soon.

Ford liked the Celtics draft on the basis that he thinks they got two guys who could end up in the rotation immediately, even if he thought the PP pick was a reach.

Go Yam! Love what he does, even if we won’t see it for a year. Handles it well, makes passes, finishes with both hands, can shoot and is a pest on defence

I'm looking forward to Madar sighting next season

He has better physical tools and athleticism than Pritchard

Madar reminds me of Schroeder

Yam is quicker and more fluid but Pritchard is stronger and more solid.

If Yam has a good season over seas he might become a nice trade piece to attach to the TPE

I kind of want to keep him

Teague is only here for one season

Yam and Pritchard could be a pain in the butt backcourt off the bench
