Plain and simple THIS is why danny got us depth this year.  If JJJ plays up to it, could make the trade deadline interesting.
I think that's overly optimistic.  at best JJJ will look like a genuine contributor for next year but unless they're throwing in the towel this year, I don't see Bass on the trading block.  If JJJ is looking like a good player, I don't want to see him moved for a 1/2 year rental of someone.

On a related note, I don't see how anyone would give us all that much so that they could rent Bass for a couple months.

And nothing that ANY of these guys do or show is going to make KG's contract moveable.
oh my , not kg
i was thinking more oneil or wilcox, i wouldn't hesistate on bass for an upgrade for a true big if JJJ showed good pf game, while a nice job he to me is still a year away
very happy with how he is shaping up

Yes, just two months after stepping into his first NBA camp with a tricky system and exacting coach.  He seems to be coming along nicely.

yeah I think its the little things keeping him from pt
he has the offense, he runs the floor and is quick on help defense
needs to work on rotations, plays & posistioning

if in next years draft we can replace a brooks type shooter than very good trade on danny's part, lifetime backup in moore and what could be a very nice player in johnson

JJ looks to be virtually identical to Bass in terms of skill-set thus far.  Very solid jump shooter,  active/undersized defensively and energetic/overmatched on the boards.

Nice to get him some experience.

bass currently has alot more strength though..

I think give Johnson a year or so and he is going to be a REALLY good player

Get well, big guy.

I'd rather he sit longer if need be..just get it right.

Give Wilcox and JJ more run.

in a kind of blessing in disquise, it will give JJJ some solid development..

kind of like Rondo's injury really allowed bradley/moore to grow

Bass has been a major contributor.  Plus he's been a solid utlity player on my fantasy team.

It will also force DA to make some moves to get a quality big!

If we come out of this as well as we did when Rondo got hurt it will be great as Stiemsma and JJJ will get some time and hopefully develop their games some.

This really sucks, hopefully two weeks is enough for the scope or whatever they're doing to his knee to fix the issue for the long haul.

JJJ looked good offensively, but he's got to get some of those defensive boards when he was on the court. Got pushed around too much on that end.

Wilcox is the superior player.

We are about to find out with Bass what we found about about Dooling when he was out with injury:  We're just as good and perhaps better without them in the lineup.

And we'll have a Bass/Dooling trade at the deadline.

I think wilcox might be a better glue guy than bass as far as doing whatever the first unit needs. The problem is, the second unit needs scoring and wilcox can't score like bass.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Wilcox is the better option to play center. But Bass gives you jump shooting at the 4 spot when KG isn't in the game, and that is rather important to the C's offense.

Wilcox does provide a superior inside finisher that Bass hasn't been this year (shooting a career low at the rim I believe) so its a trade off.

Honestly its not Bass that Wilcox should replace in all odds, but O'Neal.
