That stinks. Takes him into the All-Star break so he'll at least get some extra rest then and get this issue taken care of.

Extra minutes for Wilcox...that's a good thing.

Unleashing Jajuan Johnson is most important, though.

I actually don't mind this too much.  I'm not as high on bass as most around here.  He basically a complementary jump shooter.  He doesn't offer a lot on d or rebounding.

I think JJJ can give us what bass does plus have more of an impact on D.

Bass will be missed but it's a good opportunity to develop other bench options.

Very excited to see what JJJ can offer.  I think we've all been very pleased to see what Bass brings to the table, but we pretty much know what we're going to get from him - some nice jumpers, but not a lot of rebounding or inside play.  Still, he's been a very good player, and will immediately come back into his previous role when healthy.

JJJ, on the other hand...   the few minutes he's gotten recently, he looks a lot better.  Nice for him to get an opportunity to get into the games consistently for a couple of weeks, to likely have some decent playing time, see what he can give us once he gets into a bit of a rhythm.  I think he's at least got the potential to be more of a rebounder and defender than Bass - it may not show up immediately because he needs a little more bulk, but let's get a chance to see what he can offer.

Let's just hope that Bass' knee issues aren't something that's going to stick around all year - let's hope a little bit of rest will cure it.

Plain and simple THIS is why danny got us depth this year.  If JJJ plays up to it, could make the trade deadline interesting.

I think that's overly optimistic.  at best JJJ will look like a genuine contributor for next year but unless they're throwing in the towel this year, I don't see Bass on the trading block.  If JJJ is looking like a good player, I don't want to see him moved for a 1/2 year rental of someone.

On a related note, I don't see how anyone would give us all that much so that they could rent Bass for a couple months.

And nothing that ANY of these guys do or show is going to make KG's contract moveable.

I really don't think his bulk is looking that bad.  I think it's more learning and being out there for 3J.  (Same actually for Stiemer too.)
