Wow.  That might be the last time KG visits TD Garden as a player and Mitchell doesn't put him in even for 1 meaningless possession in garbage time.  ****.

Yep, horrible move. Makes no sense whatsoever. They're not competing for a championship or anything like that, so it makes no sense not to give KG that.

Pretty small of Mitchell on the face of it not to stick KG in at the last time out to take a last bow.

Possible that KG asked him not to....

Last thought Townes > Okafor,

Easily.  Towns needs to get stronger inside but otherwise he's really complete.

I thought about that.  Might be the case.  At least KG got to enjoy Gino one last time and got a period of recognition on the jumbotron.  That was pretty awesome.

RJ has played very well, not just about points either. Kid's gonna be a player on both ends. 6-6 long arms, good shooter, pretty solid defender too. He needs more minutes to find the rest of his game on offense.

good win. we needed it.

He can't shoot though. Which is crazy bc that was what he was known for

He could be a worse corner 3 shooter vs from way downtown
he can shoot though.  the more accurate way to state it is that he hasn't shot well very often on those occasions he's gotten minutes.

Last thought Townes > Okafor,

Like comparing Al Jefferson to Tim Duncan.  It's not even remotely close.

Okafor is at least 3 levels below Towns IMHO.

As someone tweeted, KG is slated to make 8 million next year.  He's not retiring just yet.

He shot very poorly from 3 in his last season at Georgia State (31%), so I think it is a viable concern.

That being said, I honestly don't believe he "can't shoot" either.  I think he developed some bad habits in his last year at GA St. trying to carry his team on his back, and he's still working on breaking them, as well as figuring out how to get his shot off in the NBA.  My expectation is it might be a bit up and down all season, over the summer he'll work hard on his 3 pt shot, and will be making it rain in Summer League next year.  I'd like to see him raise his release point a bit too.

I love RJs game.  I think he's going to be our starting SG within the next 2 1/2 seasons.

On the other hand, he's the highest paid player in NBA history, so I'm not sure if the money is really important. However, KG will play as long as he's still able (which he is), and he really is helping to build up the Wolves for the future.

I agree that he may have developed bad habits last year. He may also still be finding his game, especially at this level. He has shown he car score in a variety of ways... driving, floaters, pull-ups off the dribble and around screens. He's not strictly a spot-up shooter.

Also probably worth considering that (a) his stroke is pretty, (b) he's always been a good FT shooter, and (c) his misses are often wayy off (i.e., airballs), suggesting it's more mental than physical.

It's fun watching Crowder beat up on bad teams, I really like the kid.  Too bad he isn't good enough
You don't fully appreciate his D until you see it in person. Crowder is an absolute work horse out there. Dude could be a solid role player on any playoff team.

Bit like early GWallace. Lucky we have 4 more years of this crazy.

He looks like a guy that has to transition from scorer to shooter for me.   In college he was the offense.
