bryant is a self-centered jerk who only cares about his own personal glory - he doesn't even like his own teammates. i wouldn't put anything past this guy.

Stern sure ain't gonna say anything - but Doc needs to.

I think at worst it was a reckless play and that's a stretch. Sometimes bad things happen by accident during a game where super athletes are banging for boards. That is - in the parlance of our times - why they pay these guys the big bucks.

Now - Artests forearm shiver to Rondo's chin should certainly be a one game suspension - it was after the play, intentional, and against a defenseless airborne Rondo. Queensbridge I guess.

The first video does the claim no justice.

However, in that second video, it looks like Kobe does some unnatural movement with his legs to get Perk off balance.

This thread is a joke.

Yeah, just like Ron Artest's elbow to Rondo's throat was a joke  ::)

This Lakers' team's idea of playing tough is playing desperate and dirty. I take solace in the fact that we can get technicals all night tomorrow and not have to worry about suspensions. We will draw first blood tomorrow night, and everything the Lakers do after that will be viewed as retaliation.

At least, this is what I am banking on and hoping for.

anyone see Kobe, same players conduct in question in this thread, swing a full wind up punch at Rhondo's head in the first Quarter of game seven?  no call, no technical, no nothing.

I noticed that too.  Announcers never even commented on it.

I commented on it over in the game thread right after it happened.

Do we really need to bump 1,000 threads by posting this exact same thing?

I saw a Sports Illustrated pic of Abdul Jabar coming in from behind Olajuwan at mid court and Jabar had both his index finger and his middle finger curved and was obviously trying to gouge at Olajuwons eyes. I couldnt believe it but it was there. I wouldnt put anything past a team to win a title. By the way, that was before Olajuwon ever wore goggles, which I think he did later in his career.
