Would like to see Conley go somewhere where he can succeed, though, as I've always been a fan. Utah would be an interesting fit for him.

Interesting I saw a tweet yesterday that the Pels were gauging interest in Jrue.  Maybe they aren't interested in what the Jazz could offer.  Rubio and a mid/late 1st certainly wouldn't get it done. 

Derek Bodner tweeted after the Zinger trade that several executives told him they inquired about the Zinger a week or two before the trade and were told he was not available.  Things are very fluid in the NBA.

It would have to involve another peice, Rubio alone isnt enough to match salaries. Probably rubio+Exum or Favors.

Likely Favors since his deal is nonguaranteed for next season, but he can still give you some solid minutes this season.

Possibly, but I dont think MEM is gonna have cap space so another expiring might no matter. Maybe they want a young PG instead.

I don't think it's about creating capspace as much as it's about lowering payroll. Reducing costs - especially in that market - has to be a priority for them.

Memphis should definitely ask for Exum.  Rubio is a FA and there's really no future with him anyways.

Yes, a great fit, but bad news for our Clippers pick, since it reduces the possibility that Utah missed the playoffs.
We have to rely on the Clippers to hold their 1 game advantage over LeBron's Lakers with 30 games to go. Big loss yesterday.

Here’s hoping Kawhi signs with the Clips so that we (or the Pelicans) get that pick next season.
