If Danny wants to go "all in", he can include both Tatum and Brown, along with Robert Williams, salary filler, and four #1s.  As a way of sweetening the pot for Rich Paul and paving the way for Davis in Boston, Danny could also promise Marcus Morris -- one of Paul's clients -- a $20+ million contract offer.

Does that offer make you blink?

Could we try to keep Brown OR Williams. Losing all of Tatum, Brown and Williams would be devastating IMHO. The tough decision is, Brown or Smart.

The fact that Hayward is so bad right now. Can't lose Tatu and Brown. They can choose 1, and take all the picks.

I do not like that deal at all. That cripples you for the future. Hayward is unproven and you trade away both young wings.

Rozier
Brown
Williams
4 #1's

And what about Al? Can he be included? Hayward wouldn't fetch you a rack of balls right now.

No to any trade that includes both Jaylen and Tatum.

One or the other plus picks.

It's for Anthony Davis...  ::) I'll give them whoever they want other than Irving.

I’ll do both Jay’s. Sometimes it takes more than .50 + .50 to get $1.

We have a logjam. Both CAN become stars. Or not. Davis is unquestionably one. We won’t be able to pay both if they do, we will regret not trading them if they don’t.

Ainge has to begin consolidating. Can’t do it with Kyrie/Gordon/Al, it has to be these two.

As much as I don’t want to trade both Tatum and Brown, Anthony Davis is 25 years old and a top 5 player in the NBA. You gotta do it.

I'm assuming Rozier can be signed in the offseason and be used for salary filler?

I would trade Rozier, Brown, Tatum, Williams, and all 4 picks for him.

If we can keep Morris to go with AD, Kyrie, Horford, Hayward, and Smart?  Thats 6 really good players. We have seen enough flashes from Hayward, he will eventually get back to being a dependable starter. I know out salary will be crazy high but its freaking Anthony Davis.

We will have to fill the roster like all the high payroll contenders normally do. With cheap rookie contracts and veteran minimums. Maybe players like Theis and Wanamaker stay around for increased roles. Would still have Ojeleye.

Where do I sign up?

Kyrie and AD will be the core moving forward for the next 6-8 years. Figure out the rest after. You have those two, you're set.

TP....funny the team has "cover" for a starter who is ineffective in more ways than just on the court.

I might want to hold back on one of those picks or Williams. Let’s face it, Tatum will be a max player, and Jaylen will want to get close to max. You can’t pay Kyrie, Gordon and Davis max money, and expect to pay a fourth player max too. BTW, there is also Horford who has a player option. I have no issue at all including both Tatum and Brown for Davis. Don’t get me wrong, I like both of those guys, but Davis is on another level.

Gotta do what U can to get a top player. My only concern would be carrying Morris’ 20 mil contract going forward. That’s a big contract for him to be stuck w for multiple years.

If there's no question that AD is going to resign for 3+ years, then no, it doesn't make me blink.

Tatum looks like he'll become a sweet 20+ ppg scorer sooner than later and Jaylen looks like a nice-enough 3rd scorer with good defense.

AD is a top 5 player in the NBA and among the most talented big men to ever play the game.

If it's possible to keep Kyrie, Smart, and Horford while trading for Davis, I'm in.

I hope that Marcus Morris contract can be a two year deal with a second year team option, though.
