Just saw that on his Facebook page, I don't know the magazine but I thought it would be worthy enough to create a thread about it, more Rondo recognition/love from national media never hurts!

I like how the cover has a "how to make it to the NBA" promotion.

Answer: Be very tall, athletic and have excellent basketball skills.

The taller you are the less skill you need.
The shorter you are, the more skill you need.

done.

(Nice to see Rondo keep getting recognition. That will help kick start the attention for the next generation of Celtics.)

thats a worry for the 2015-2016 season....and if at that point Rondo is in line for a huge contract, it will mean the celts certainly will be getting their moneys worth over the next 5 seasons

A good, simple, workman-like pose.  He's a better-looking guy than that, however.  Regularly reminds me of a mini-Chief with his regal visage and profile.

Sadly, neither are even average looking. In the end, all that matters is how you carry it.

Cool, I'll probably pick this up and keep it in mint condition for the next 20 years.

I still have the issue of ESPN mag with KG, Ray, and Paul on the cover from before the 2008 season started, the one with the banners behind them. Mint. Still gotta find a way to get that signed, however.

Pierce was one of the first covers of Dime rocking his back tattoo. I never really read it, but I always felt it was trying to be a combonination of SLAM and a lifestyle magazine.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

The way Rajon holds the basketball in that video is like me holding a tennis ball. Those hands are insane!

See what I noticed was right below Rondo's name: Deron Williams, Respect Paid in Full...... Yeah Rondo should respect him a little more after that Utah game the other day.

I actually like that cover because there aren't words all over it. I'm not sure if SLAM Magazine has ever had someone facing backwards on the cover (and can't see their face), though...
