I might even go as far as saying that I prefer it to our current alternate jersey's. Whats wrong with having 4? The Cavs have at least five I think.

I certainly wouldn't object to the organization bringing back the classic green road jerseys with "Boston" at the expense of the current alternate jerseys.  Keep the St. Patrick's Day ones, though.

I actually hate the St. Patrick's Day jerseys.  What's the point?  And of all the holidays, St. Patrick's Day?  (I mean I get it for the Celtics, though still don't like it, but why on earth for other teams?).  Halloween (sometimes), Thanksgiving, Christmas, Festivis, New Years, MLK Day, Groundhog's Day, Valentine's Day, President's Day, Easter, Earth Day (that one's for you ACF!), Memorial Day, and Mother's Day all occur during the NBA season too, most of which are probably more deserving of special NBA jerseys than St. Patrick's Day.

It doesn't really make sense for other teams (other than another jersey to make money off of ).  I think for the Celtics and the city of Boston, St. Patrick's Day holds special meaning, though.

the celtics are about tradition....i'd hate for them to have a lot of jerseys.  i like the alternate ones we have now, but keep it at 3 total.  the st paddys can/should only be worn on 3/17 and not considered an actual alternate jersey. my two cents

I completely agree, except I hate the St. Patrick's Day jersey. I agree with the fact that it should only be worn on 3/17 and I would go a little bit farther to say whatever game day is closest to St. Patrick's Day if they don't play that day.

If I could have my dream St. Patrick's Day jersey it would be exactly what Truck said earlier. The same jersey as their jerseys from the Italy trip except green, white, and orange.
