Pats are lucky they had such a weak schedule this year.  Non-division games against the three worst teams in the NFL, division games against the Jets and Dolphins, and then the added bonus of playing below .500 teams in the Browns, Cowboys and Eagles.

Or unlucky that they lost Andrews, Wynn, Karras, Develin.

Every team loses multiple good players every year though.
Makes a huge difference though when you lose all those players on one side of the ball.

Dang. Call cost Pats a TD on the fumble.   Huge.

Pats got screwed even worse on the Harry call. Refs should know to call that a TD and then determine in/out on replay.

They blew the spot on the 1st down Belichick lost a challenge, but shouldn't have as the ball was clearly over a yard short of where they spotted it.

Refs then blew the whistle on what should have been a fumble return for a TD(had to use last challenge).

Then blew the Harry TD.

They have gotten majorly screwed a couple times now.

Really with just a couple more decent plays they would be winning.

That refereeing crew should be fined.

That said, the Pats didn’t deserve to win.

Brutal way for the home streak to end. Ugh

They also blew a flagrant PI where both of our receivers arms were held.

This game should have gone to OT at a minimum.

Tough loss.  They hung tough and would have tied if not for a flurry of bad calls. The challenge that they lost turned out to be ridiculously costly. And truthfully I thought they should have won the challenge. Whole game changes on that. Pats challenge the Harry call - TD.

But I’m amazed they were even in this. Looked like pats were done.

Yup, after the Pats used their challenges on bad calls, then there were like 3-4 bad calls, including the PI you are discussing, that would have been overturned if the Pats hadn't had to use their challenges on other awful calls.

Just an embarrassing performance from the Zebras.

Maybe they were on loan from the NBA

They played badly in 1st half but well enough to win IMO.  Calls were terrible.

Adam Schefter has some updated news regarding Antonio Brown and the Patriots.

Quote
Although they need additional offensive weapons for their postseason push, the New England Patriots will not re-sign wide receiver Antonio Brown, league sources told ESPN.

Brown has apologized to the Patriots, to the public and to others, but New England hasn't considered bringing him back since deciding to move on from him during the season, as much as the offense could use him.

Although Brown won't be resurfacing in New England, he is expected to find work once the NFL wraps up its investigation.

"There are teams out there that would love to sign him once [his case] is resolved," said Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, who has maintained regular contact with a handful of teams regarding their interest in Brown.

Is there any doubt that Antonio Brown would have made a difference today?

Gave my Ravens a game of cover on the top seed. If Pats aren't careful they won't have a bye. Heck the Bill's are still very much in the division hunt as well.
