With the 14th pick 2(2) the Los Angeles Lakers select a player they believe to have had the best peak of all PFs in NBA history and a perfect skillset for All-Time teams, Kevin Garnett!

Btw he was ranked fifth on my draft board.

woah

Thats a surprise.

I have KG at like 5 or 6th in top PFs.
He's easily second to me in GOAT lists, best peak for all time teams over duncan due to his skillset.

Low efficiency for a bigman in his best raw stat seasons.
Transcendent creation, defense and additive skills to elite teams though.

Not a great creator.

But a great teammate and a great defender. Absolutely.

Curry was #8 overall and #1 among PGs on my draft board.

I assume you made your draft board based on pick position?

Or do you think curry is the greatest pg to ever play the game?

The Chicago Bulls select with pick 2(1) another Big to pair with The Big Fundamental.

Another NBA champion
Another MVP
6 time assist leader
9 time All-NBA first team

The Big O Oscar Robertson

I like him alot,

But in todays era will his midrange shooting and lack of 3pointer limit him?

just playing

It’s always tough to tell with guys that played before the 3 point line was created. There was no incentive to shooting from that far out, so who knows how he would’ve been

Oscar was a very good midrange shooter and a brilliant FT shooter. One of the smartest, most skilled and most fundamentally sound players ever.

I have a tough seeing him not being able to develop a 3 pointer.

How good of a 3 point shooter? I don't know. But he is non-shooter in my book. I will rate him as being a threat from 3.

Yeah you're underrating him a bit, he was an amazing passer for a PF.

Curry is far from cracking into the top 20 in GOAT lists, but his peak season is definitely one of the best among PGs if not the best imo.

With the 16th pick 2(4) the Los Angeles Lakers select a point guard with one of the best offensive peaks ever for his position, Stephen Curry!

I’m assuming you would go with 2015-16 for Curry?

Actually I'm not sure-his 2016-2017 season is actually quite close in terms of team "lift", if not better. I might just go with his 16 season though due to his crazy scoring.
Edit: yes I'll be going with his 16 season, the scoring is to much to not go with when I'll likely be lacking in offense with my squad.

Great pick, I would have taken him if the Big O wasn’t still on the board.  Such a well rounded player.

I'm taking the 70-71 season of Hondo, where he averaged 28 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists on 45% shooting.

I rated the next 50 most valable players, and only 2 have come off my list so far.

Congrats on number 2 of that list.
