Even sounds like an old man lol

At this rate shooting the 3, should be in the 3 pt contest. That would be a treat to see

While Brown, Smart, Rozier played hard... i mean its painful to see these guys 3-12, 3-11 etc

whatsup with this?

Tatum on the other hand is solid and reliable.  He should be the go to guy if Irving is going to be out for a few games. No question

We already have a few Tatum threads, triboy.  I like him a lot too, though.

There can not be too many Jayson Tatum threads right now.

This kid is the best Celtic rookie since Paul Pierce.

He may end the best rookie since Larry Bird. Statistically, Tatum falls a little short of Pierce's rookie year - so far.  Pierce was 21 (a year and a half older than Tatum) at the start of his career.  Tatum may ultimately prove to be a better rookie than PP when this year is all said and done.

Bird's unapproachable rookie season (21/10/4) began at age 23.

I always lived playing basketball but when it came to shooting I got nervous in front of a crowd. Even in highschool with like no one in the stands I'd get a little bricky so I tried to do glue stuff and set screens. It BLOWS me away that a 19 yr old kid can look that comfortable on the floor of an NBA game. He's calling for the ball against people who can't guard him I'd be hiding in The corner

He has the vibe of Klay Thompson to me. The way he can score and play solid defense. Does he hit 40 points in a game this season?

My favorite bit was Tatum with a wide stance arms wide then flicking his hand forcing Kemba Walker to become defensive and retreat.Quick hands.

Sure, if these injuries keep piling up.   :o

It doesn't seem like they are running plays designed for Jayson, at least yet.  He is benefitting from open looks due to attention of other guys.  But don't get me wrong, I think JT is supremely talented ands will have monster stat games at some point...  It just seems like 40 is unlikely with Irving/Horford out there.

Tatum upsets me a lot. TAKE KVER THE GAME TATUM! Why is he so scared? Smart is the worse offensive player in NBA history but has the confidence of Kobe. If Tatum stops playing scared and puts up 20 shots a game, I'll be happy.

Maybe. He's had 3 20+ point games this season and in those games he's attempted 15, 13 and 9 (!) field goals. 15 is the most shots he's taken in any game this season (and he took zero FT's that game). Could he get hot some night in February against a bad team where everyone just keeps feeding the youngster and he hits 40 points on 24 shots or something? Not crazy at all.

He is a rookie and playing well for a rookie.  I don't think he should take a radio station to the game which is what KVER means.  JK
