I have a strange feeling we'll play better on the road.  But doesn't look like it will matter at this point.  We look like a poorly coached team that's already been defeated.

Poor effort on defense in the playoffs is inexcusable. Together with the endless sloppy turnovers by guys like Crowder and Horford, we got some serious issues. These guys gotta take a good hard look at themselves.

Next game will be really telling. This was figuratively a must-win, but next game will be now or never. Home court advantage matters, but wins matter more.

The series isn't over, but this is very disappointing. I agree with others that things will look much different going into next season; I'm just not ready to wait until November to see meaningful games again.

Smart is legitimately the only person that plays good D on the Celtics anymore. Everyone else is beyond terrible defensively.

I don't want to see ANY of the starters next year. Screw them all.

After this season, it's looking an awful lot like Stevens knows NOTHING about NBA defense and coasted the last two years on a core of good to great individual defenders (Jae, Bradley and Smart) just busting their tails.  Now Smart's the only one still fighting and the team defense implodes.

How do we feel about Brad Stevens after this?

Before this series the idea of Brad's job being in jeopardy, or even the notion that he might not be the coach in Boston as long as he wants, would have seemed absolutely ludicrous.

This, though, is a major embarrassment.  What does it mean to have a "great coach" if your team can't play up to potential, let alone exceed expectations, in the post-season?
