I am glad we gave Pritchard some PTs and not shopped him away. I'll admit I wanted him involved in a package for a star, but I had no spite over him. It's just that if you don't get any playing time you should probably be on another team.

Well, see, when you give your bench players or reserves PTs then you see their skills and work with it. Pritchard has been a stud these days...reminds me of Avery Bradley when he had that breakout season in 2012.

Mazzulla has a tendency to bury guys on the bench - he's doing it to Tillman this year.
We need that guy's physicality - he's are only non-finesse player.

Queta and Tillman will have a nice future with the Cs.

Then again, we have Walsh.   If he can keep knocking down 3's he's going to be a good energy player.
He may be more than that. 36% from 3 in the G-League I think is a lot better than expected based on his college career. Brad may have done it again.

I sure hope so.  If he ends up getting minutes, he should end up getting open looks with all of the attention on the Jays and KP.  Spot-up 3 point shots and solid defense, that's all we need from him.  He's also athletic enough to pump fake, take a dribble or two, and kick it back out fast enough to cause shifts in the defense.

That was fun. The Celtics have a lot of talent in the pipeline.
They really do. Brad seems to have knack for finding guys and then once they're in the organization they get better.

Queta in 18mins of play: 16pts, 6rebs, 5ast, 2stls. 8-10 from the field.  :D

Queta interests me because I really don't think he even knows what he's doing yet in some aspects of the game.  But when he gets his ass in the right place, good things happen.  He can impact the game.

I'm happy that we're hanging onto him for another year.

I really like them both - they should be getting some regular minutes.
As I mentioned above, we need physical players for this finesse group and those two fit the bill.

Always wish we could have more.  If only Springer was a good 3point shooter.  He'd be a menace of a 3 + D player.  JD Davison would be useful too if he could shoot.

Every time I watch them I see and say the same thing.  If they could only shoot adequately they would both be rotational players.

Springer is a menace on D.  He is elite there.  JD can absolutely run a team.  Neither can shoot which is and will keep both out of a rotation at the NBA level.  If they were average shooters they'd have a PP type role on a lot of teams.

I hope the C's resign Tillman.  He really needs to work on his shooting and touch/finishing around the rim.  If he can improve those areas he will take over the Al role when Al retires.  He just needs to make some shots.  His 2pt shooting has been better with the C's.  His 3pt shooting is atrocious.

It always takes some bigs longer to develop in the NBA then other positions.  I think Queta is going to have a nice role in the NBA.  He moves well.  He can rebound and score in the post.  he just needs to work on defensive positioning and pnr switching.  With Queta signed this IMO spells the end of the Green Kornet.  The C's have to most likely sign JD to the big club and make room for their 1st round pick.  They will most likely lose Svi, Kornet and possibly Brissett pending his Player Option.  I also like Peterson and hope he at least sticks as a 2 way with the potential to replace Hauser the following year.

One of the only reasons I wasn't that upset with the Brogdon/TL/2 1sts trade was because I thought that, given the chance, Pritchard could fill Brogdon's role. I'm glad he is seemingly proving us right. I honestly think he is better in some ways given his tenacious D and continued improvement as an actual PG. He's not just a short SG anymore.
