Yesterday at theater: "TinTin", 3D.  Kids liked it...not my fav. animated film.

Last night, tv:  "Nobody's Fool", Paul Newman.  Has he ever made a bad movie?  Loved it.  I like all the movies where aging actors play eccentric senior citizens...age appropriate but still cool...

I thought it was good. I don't regret watching it by any means. Wouldn't buy it though.

Under the Red Hood was better.

Moneyball- very good  :)

Cowboys and Aliens- close to terrible. very cliche and slow.

Sherlock Holmes 2  -- [dang] Hollywood the whole idea of taking one of, if not the greatest, cerebral hero of all time and turning him into an action figure--mildly entertaining but appalling nevertheless.  It's like making a movie about the Celtics and having them play Lakers style ball.

I've been on a bit of a Bill Withers kick lately and coincidentally stumbled upon this documentary on him http://tinyurl.com/76dvxm5 .  Well worth checking out.  He's an interesting dude with a great perspective on life.

"Red Tails" last night.... The whole thing feels like a Tyler Perry parody with airplanes.  Don't see it.  I can't remember a time I've seen dumber writing than that.  Absolutely TERRIBLE writing.  Shameful.  Disrespectful to those who the story was about.  Insultingly stupid.

Lucas apparently claimed Hollywood refused to greenlight, because of the all-black cast. I have a feeling it had to do with the screenplay apparently being written by a 3rd grader.

Moneyball: Great

Hangover II: hated it.

Ides Of March: Slow, cynical, and okay I guess.

The Help: Worth watching, for sure.

Warrior, starring my current favorite actor Tom Hardy: Best of the bunch.

The Guard.  I loved it and would recommend checking it out.  Brendan Gleeson's performance was brilliant.

It's funny... I enjoyed this movie, BUT there were so many holes in the storyline (that I'd rather not say because I don't want to give anything away) that the whole thing just becomes unrealistic.

Having went to college in Cincinnati, I did find it very cool to see the city again (of which I haven't been in that area for over 10 years).
