The Freak goes berserk ( Lebron) ..scores 45 points on C's

Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown score 30 each and the Celtics win!

I like your fairy tale better ... :D

Wow, Theis starting tonight instead of Baynes. Seems like Brad wants Baynes off the bench for Monroe. I worry about Al covering Giannis, though, especially the leeway he's been getting with the refs lately.

Baynes off the bench to match up with Monroe.  Smart looked good at shoot around but still game time decision.

Came here to post that.  Interesting decision — looking forward to seeing Theis with the first string tho.

The more I think about it, it probably has as much to do with Baynes guarding Monroe as it does for giving us 6 more fouls with Theis, given that Brown's playing time was limited against the Bucks last week due to all the foul calls Giannis was getting on him.

I would imagine that Al is the one guarding Giannis starting off, but it'll be interesting to see if Theis gets a crack at him, too.

Giannis has to have a bad game eventually. Why not tonight?

I like this, theis has some speed and size to maybe still with greco and has a few fouls to give.  You really have to step back and appreciate Gianni's improvement and how he seems to be a good guy/attitude

Good. This is what I was calling for in the last game vs Milwaukee = Theiss.

The team needed more size and length at the forward slots without Hayward. Stevens instead went small and used more small backcourts and three guard lineups. Which opened up our defense too much and did not provide enough extra offense to justify it. Theiss won't give that offense either but he will allow the C's to stay bigger and retain more defensive & rebounding integrity.

Happy to see this adjustment made.
