Pruitt will have a huge night off the bench. In a related story, Mike O'Hara and Jimmie Flaherty are going to kidnap Doc Rivers before the game. ;D

"HEY RIVERS! Manute Bol is banging your mom!"

"MANUTE BOL! YOUR MOM!"
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

We will win if Rondo learns the Crab Dribble.
God bless and good night!

In all seriousness, though... if TA is still hurt, who guards LeBron to spell Paul?

Scal?!

Bill Walker.  Bring him up, now!

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
C's win on Friday, no doubt about it, mark it down. No way this team comes out flat on a national stage when it's back is against the wall. I guarantee you that the Cavs, are concerned for Friday, it's a big game, and the C's are going to be angry. Lately they have been vulnerable to teams, any team during this slump, but this is still the best team in the NBA, and they are incredibly dangerous when they come to play.

You don't win in the NBA with rookies.  You need to add a veteran player (or two) to this roster.

Yeah, with Big Z out, I think our chances of winning are relatively high. What worries me is that I'd be very pessimistic if we had to face them in a 7 game series with both teams at their full force.

I love the optimism. TP.
A sense of urgency is the key.

Remember, this team is still
95-24.
That's a .798 win pct.
Not bad. Not bad at all.

The Cavaliers are preparing to play a Celtics team that has lost six of their previous eight games.

"I can't say [Friday] is a just another game; I'd be lying," said LeBron James. "You want to win as many games and try to get homecourt throughout the playoffs."

Lebron is going to bring his A game. I hope the Celtics decide to bring there D. If they don't Lebron will live in the paint, and the Cavs will eat us from the inside out.

you win with rookie bench players who contribute in limited time. no ones advocating him being our 6th man.

Sam Cassell played a big role as a rookie in helping Houston win in 1994.

So true. Sam is still one of the most
utterly fearless rookies I've ever seen.

I agree with Bankshot. You need to bring up one of the kids for this game. Giddens or Walker. I lean to Walker because of his strength, but Giddens has a better defensive reputation. Scal and Pruitt can't guard Lebron and I just started making weird crying noises when I thought of a hobbled Tony Allen trying to play Lebron.

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that a win at Cleveland makes up for this whole dreadful skid.

If he was ready to contribute this year he wouldn't be in the D-League.  I'm all for seeing if Pruitt can do something because he's been around a bit, but at this point in the season you need consistency from all your role players -- not a decent game one night and nothing for the next two weeks.

Take it to the bank that Walker won't be a rotation player this year unless they get croaked by injuries -- in which case repeating as champs will not longer be an issue.
