I don’t think he’s the right coach to win it all.

I mean, he literally rested both Kyrie and Al in Brooklyn when we were still trying to secure the 4th seed, essentially conceding that game to them.

Now, he goes back to Kyrie and Haywad playing major minutes in a literally meaningless game, that we are down double digits in halfway through the fourth quarter, and that we've already lost two starters in. WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE?!

It's like virtually everything he does is arbitrary and there's no logic to it, which is a pretty [dang]ing issue for someone who is heralded for his intellect.

(P.S. - even if we come back and win this game with no further injuries, this is still an incredible dumb decision.)

Even if you accept this explanation (which I think is 50/50 given our injury history over the past two years), you would think a reasonable person would change this stance once the lead got to 14 in the middle of the fourth when two of our starters have already been injured and ruled out for the game...
