Jeff Green benched due to being terrible

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we see a Lance Stephenson-Jeff Green swap. Both guys would fit on their teams very well if they switched places.

I think Jeff Green is effected by what he's gone through with his heart problems. I think Jeff simply has a weak heart, he knows it, and will not take the chance playing at break neck speed. Yeah, he tries, he gets paid well, if he can just get one more chance/contract, he's made a career of it.

If he had never played for us Id suggest swapping some garbage for him as a reclamation project type and throw him at the 4.

Jeff hasn’t gotten it done, and he’s shooting very poorly over the last six games. His attitude hasn’t been the best. He’s not playing very well defensively.

And I know of a guy who matters in that locker room that wanted to wring his neck last night.

…I was told, point blank, by a guy in that locker room who matters that Jeff doesn’t care.

Really? The Grizz need perimeter shooting and get Stephenson? Not that Green is the best shooter around, but he's better than Stephenson. Plus, the Grizz run their O through Gasol/Conley and Stephenson is a ball dominant/ball stopper.

Really? The Grizz need perimeter shooting and get Stephenson? Not that Green is the best shooter around, but he's better than Stephenson. Plus, the Grizz run their O through Gasol/Conley and Stephenson is a ball dominant/ball stopper.

Stephenson is shooting a respectable 35% from 3 this season while Jeff is shooting 27%.

I think if they put Stephenson in the 2nd unit, he would thrive because he wouldn't have as many guys who need the ball in their hands to be effective. That and I think Stephenson still is a great defender. Atleast better than Jeff Green.

Green's not working out for them. They may as well take a chance on Stephenson. Both will be free agents this summer so it can't hurt.

Unfortunately, I see a LOT of Jeff Green in Kelly Olynyk...Sometimes I watch K.O., and think to myself---If only he had the brain/guts/desire of Larry Bird....because he has the physical tools.
