Hayward can't come back soon enough. Redundant or no.

guessing at a 19-9 record after that Christmas game.  at the beginning of the season we'd be tickled pink with that record and knowing we'd be without Hayward for the bulk of it.  looking at it now, I'm a bit disappointed.

At this point the team would have to flatten out to an almost .500 record(8-7) to get to that 19-9 record. As long as no one else goes down for an extended time, with that schedule, 8-7 has to be an almost certain worse case scenario. I am thinking 21-7. Even without Hayward, this team is almost elite defensively, especially when they board like they did tonight.

Smart/Brown/Tatum as a 2-4 defensive unit might only be beat as best wing combo defensively by Leonard/George/Shamet trio, and they haven't even played a game together yet to judge them to know for sure.

Yeah we need Hayward back ASAP. This team been losing games without him, and losing Walker for probably an extended amount of time not gonna help either.

I mean sure he would help but this was also an extremely tough road trip. I pointed this out but so far Phili was 1-4 on their west coast trip. TOR was 2-2. MIA was 1-2. The trips out west have not gone west for east teams thus far. Looking at the upcoming 12 games  the c's play some good teams, but those are mostly home games and thus still winnable imo and about 7-8 are ones they should (2xBRK, SAC, CHA, DET, CLE, NYK, IND?)

2-3 on this road trip with losses totaling 8 points is a solid outcome given the circumstances.

I'm glad the Celtics didn't have to play @Lakers during this west coast trip, even though they have usually done so in the past. Would not have ended well for them going up against LeBron and Davis.

Read on ESPN that Hayward is doing well and already taking some shots on the court.

Celts offense runs smoother with Hayward.

Hopefully he's ready to go by Christmas.

Would be a nice Christmas gift for Celtic fans.
