I was wondering when this was coming.  It was a peach of a play.

At least he could have fouled to prevent the layup.
Yup

I went to the bathroom and missed this play and now I am glad I did

Scal better be riding pine for quite some time before ever seeing the court again for that blunder

SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D

So while you psssd, the rest of us were psssd.

Does he walk off the court saying "thats not my fault".

It really wasnt that big deal of a play, but it sure was irritating.

If you have ever been an outlet passer you know what he did there. You are supposed to lead the guard with the pass. Rondo usually is moving to that direction when he gets the inbounds. It was a bad pass and way farther in front of where it should have been even if he HAD been moving, but it's not like it was a huge deal. Stop inventing more ways to pick on Scal. I want someone to start a new thread every time TA throws the ball completely away. It would crash the server!

EJ, I hear you about the type of pass (and picking on Scal), but you don't throw it when there's a defender anywhere in the vicinity.  And if memory serves Scal was subbed in for the final 4 seconds for the purpose of making that inbounds pass - which made the blunder all the more glaring.
Yup

No question. It was a bad pass. He obviously wasn't paying attention. Considering Scal is one of the smartest BBall IQ guys we have I give him a pass. It did look ridiculous though.

Love how Rondo refused to let him inbound the ball again. Seriously.. Isn't it obvious that you're supposed to pass to the green dude and not the one wearing white?

I hope ESPN writes an article on Scal's declining intangibles. Age must be catching up to Air Intangibles.

i dont think it was entirely scal's fault.

with only a few seconds left, the typical inbound play is with rondo  moving so as to save time. scal is supposed to lead rondo with a pass, but rondo just stood there instead of moving.

bad communication, but not entirely scal's fault.

but at least it got cb talking about scal again.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

He atoned by adding the finishing touches with the 3 too push it back to 20.  It helps in the pt differential so certain bloggers will rank us higher as a team.  So he was +1 overall.  Thanks Scal.
