Watching the Nuggets, it's a bit of a reality check to see how far away we actually are. The Nuggets are SUPERIOR to the Heat. I know some of us thought the same about the Celtics but I don't see how anyone can say that after watching our series. The Nuggets not only have excellent talent (which we have), but the pieces all fit together so well and they appear to run an actual system. It feels like they have a counter to anything Miami throws at them. And then of course they have the ultimate trump card in Joker.

Mazz did not put our players in the best position to succeed, but after watching this same core for the last 5-6 years together, I don't care who the coach was, they are not going to be as disciplined, heady, and unselfish as a team like Denver (or Miami).

Watching this series has made me even more convinced running it back is an exercise in futility. The core of this team needs to change.

Meh. Despite the final score of the last 2 games the heat have been pretty competitive in these finals with jimmy butler and the role players not even playing well… The Celtics can beat anyone in the league including Denver. Nuggets are playing really well but they’re not untouchable.

Gotta disagree on this in the games the nuggets won they really were not competitive at any point beyond the middle of the third. One of the games Miami for a half second got it down to 5 in the middle of 4th and it immediately went back up to double digits. Pretty boring games to be honest

Nice to see MPJ do something good.
Likewise with Strus. Strus has been a no-show so far. It would be good to see him play a big game today.

Well done Bam. I had my doubts he could punish Jeff Green in that mismatch. Not because Jeff is a good defender but because Bam's scoring is pretty limite / workmanlike. But Bam has gone to work on Uncle Jeffy. Wonderful.

Us Celtics fans were more focused on our epic failing but the most impressive thing an 8th seed has ever done is win a game 7 on the road in the conference finals…so they should have no problem winning this game 5

I like how Lowry plays. He would be an excellent 3rd guard for us. Brogdon is a better creator but Lowry's defense and floor leadership would be great. I love his doggedness. He plays with an edge. Lowry would fit in here so much better than Brogdon does.

Lowry is literally just foul hunting trying to get Jokic or the Nuggets with some cheap flop

God I came stand that guy. There’s lots of people I can’t stand in that Heat team and he’s near the top of that list

The Heat came to play tonight. Thought they'd just roll over in an elimination game.

Lets see how the nuggets come out in the 2nd half. Theyre just shooting terribly from the line and from 3 and they are getting great looks. The refs are doing their typical let one team get away with everything and calling it tight on the other end. I wonder if that continues

Good kickout by Porter.  He doesn’t see that pass very often.

Denver is showing everyone that you don't need to rely on the 3 to beat this Miami team
