Is it possible that the only person who knows how to win with McHale's players is him. Maybe he did have a solid plan all along.

2-10 is practically a winning streak for the Wolves.

The 5 game winning streak for the T-Pups is an aberration in their tough season.

Our tough stretch right now is just a blip on our tough season.

Just because McHale's overseeing a team that has won 5 straight don't make it so that he is a good coach and belongs on the bench.

Also, just because a GM has his team in the playoffs year after year don't mean he is a good/great GM, because at the end of the day you need to win the title to fully earn that title.

If you are a GM and responsible for a team that makes it out of the 1st round only once in almost a decade, that just means you didn't do your job good enough.

11 wins - 4 losses in the last 15 games. This is becoming a very long aberration.

I have to admit that he's got them playing some good basketball.

He might be a good coach. He certainly isn't a very good GM.

well, the only direction that franchise could go was up because it couldn't get much worse...

i'm more curious to see mchale's long-term plan...will he continue coaching or not? - (and earlier in this thread it was the commitment and endurance level of mchale i questioned)...stay tuned.

He was always seen as a pretty good gm until a)they put in the max salary rule so KG counted about $8-10M more than everyone but Shaq and b) they lost all those draft picks.

People can criticize McHale as a GM all they want, but guys Like Al Jefferson and Kevin Love are making him look pretty [dang] good right now. This team actually has tremendous upside.

I really like some of the young players, but this team has had lottery picks every year and McHale could have done a lot better.  But I love Big Al, Foye has improved, and Love's rebounding numbers are amazing.

They've only had top 10 picks the last 3 years and you seem to be ok with 2 of the picks. The jury's still out on Brewer, but it's not like they're perennial losers.
