And the master will get his puppet. Ode to Metallica...who would have thought that song would be about Lebron all these years later.

Won't work out. Being a "coach" in LA is a HUGE difference than Cleveland. He'll get killed by the LA media constantly like Luke Walton did.

That's why I put the quotes around the words coach lol.

We all know Luke Walton and (soon to be) Ty Lue are just assistant coaches with the Cavaliers/Lakers  :P

It's nice to see Walton finally getting a chance to be a head coach with the Kings though!

LeGM the cancer has finally reached its terminal stage. Next step is to force the Lakers to sign his "boys" to albatross contracts that become untradeable.

PG: Dennis Johnson / Jo Jo White / Stephon Marbury
SG: Sidney Moncrief / World B. Free

I disagree.  Lue has run the LaBron show and understands what his role is.  If he was coaching the lakers this year I think they would have made the playoffs.  Remember they were playing well early on and then players got hurt.  But Lue knows how to let LeBron win games on his own and makes the rest of the team adjust to the LeBron show.  As far as the media goes,  how is it going to be any different when you have had the biggest star on your team in the past with the media everywhere following your team.

you know he was the one signing off of the load of pooh Magic got him,  Lance Rondo , etc , etc ....old guys , who are of the same mindset as Lebron.   Lebron is going to bring his circus to town ,  every GM know it .  I doubt many , if any of legit teams with serious GMs and coaches wanted to even mess with him a this point .

Lebron i think has said he doesn't want to coached .  Fine for him , but how about the other 14 dudes that do?   He is selfish ....only what he wants , never for the team.

Sorry old fart doesn't even try on Defense and he doesn't want a real coach or GM giving him grief , expose his lazy selfish play . So he avoids authority ....what a role model.  :-X

Don't laugh, it must be hard finding an NBA coach that is happy to continually concede to one of his players. Like you're the coach and you draw up a play during a time out and have to look up and check and see if it passed the Lebron test. If it doesn't pass you're then corrected in front of your team. I'm sure you don't get the brightest and the best under those circumstances. And it's now being proven. Ty Lue is being interviewed because Bron can control him and tolerate him.

Also, if the Lakers can't sign a major free agent this offseason...the handwriting will be on the wall that top players simply do not want to play with him and you'll begin hearing the whispering suggesting that the Lakers want to trade LeCarpetbagger.

I can't help but think that maybe the Lakers would have been better off keeping the young core and passing on LBJ. Russell is looking mighty good with the Nets.
