lol somehow I think the Raptors will admit they were fortunate the greatest shooter in NBA history missed a pretty open 3. He's probably around 40% at that level of contest if not higher.

Hell of a game from the warriors to stay in it after Klay went down. I just hope I'm wrong about him tearing his ACL.

So Toronto goes out on a limb and trades for Kawhi and subsequently wins the title.

You have to wonder if this just emboldens Danny even more to take that risk. Couldn't have come at a better time if it did.

Calling it now the Raptors are going to choke this
They tried to.

They got so lucky Steph missed that

Not really, Steph was evidently 0-7 on go-ahead FG attempts in his playoff career before that one. I guess it should have been expected.

Not unhappy to see the Warriors lose, but hoping Kawhi doesn't stick around Toronto. May not matter to us anyway if we end go into a mini-rebuilding mode.
Because a 7 shot sample is very relevant compared to his overall playoff shooting percentages and his go ahead percentages in the regular season.  ::)

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
So, Masai Ujiri has to be Exec of the Year, right?

Man, he went all in and it paid off.

That would be such a disaster for GSW if he's done his ACL. 2 free agents with potentially huge injuries

No more fake than the Warriors first title when they beat the Cavs without Love/Kyrie.

It happens, titles still count.

Hope Klay didn’t tear his ACL
I think he did sadly, looked like it could be a ACL tear based on how he landed and then they pulled the owner back as he left on crutches.

At the very least his knee failed the stability test and they're taking him to get imaged at a hospital.

Yeah agree they got lucky in 2015 with the Kyrie injury, and also CP3 going down last year

None of those injuries were as serious  though

It's always bad when the knee hyperextends inwards/outwards.

Happy for the Raptors. Outside of being Eastern rivals, they're a really likable team. But dang it's nice to see a non-Warriors/Lebron champion this year!
