With some time to think this over I think I'd go with Alice Kramden.

I would put up with that woman's mother for her, even when she says "Hello Fatso!"

Claire Huxtable on the Cosby Show

Can't even stand to watch that show on re-runs, now, so no.

Because you disliked the show originally, or because Bill Cosby is a terrible deviant?

I think the Cosby Show is one of the best family programs of all time, and it's shattering that the lead is such a disgusting criminal.  Claire Huxtable, the fictional character, is an admirable woman.

That. It just kind of ruins everything, you know? Sigh.

I tried watching an episode a few months ago.  Can’t watch it without focusing on how vile Bill Cosby was.  It was my absolute favorite show growing up.

Barbara Felton

to continue old schooling:  Jenny, from the Jefferson's.  She counts because she eventually married Lionel.  Actress name Berlinda Tolbert.

I'd rather not google...so I'm wondering if by memory any old schoolers can recall:

-any of Barney Miller's characters having wives and if we ever saw them.
-the wife/mom from the Partridge Family and from Eight is Enough

And i think I liked Gabe Kaplan's wife (Welcome back Potter)...if I'm remembering correctly.

I have the same problem with Charlie Rose, which really sucks because he had so many great guests on that program. Sigh. Maybe I'll just hold my nose the whole time? Or vomit, afterwards? Or both? Probably not ;D.

June Cleaver used to be ideal, but I wonder how she’d translate to 2018? I see her having a nervous breakdown, divorcing Ward, going back to school and becoming a Women’s Studies major.

If we broaden it to fiancées, Vanessa from Hangin With Mr Cooper. The show ended right before the wedding.
