I really liked Rudy's gesture last night on the memory of the first Spanish player to play in the NBA. He is not forgotten in Spain. Here you have some links to know more about him

Well, Martín was tough as nails, just as Kevin was. He was a dominant center in Europe, even though he didn't have the size or as many post moves as players have now. He was just clutch and had a really strong personality.

In Spain there is basketball before and after him, for real. Nobody could dream about European players in the NBA back then and his presence in the US made the possibility of watching NBA games in Spain for the first time. He was really special, a very Celtic spirit: winner, proud and tough
