The #Bears have agreed to terms with RB D’Andre Swift on a three-year, $24 million deal, sources tell me and
@RapSheet
.

After a career year with the #Eagles, Swift heads to Chicago to be a big piece in Shane Waldron’s offense. Deal negotiated by his agent Trevon Smith.

Interesting.  I'm not 100% sold on Swift.

The Titans are expected to sign former Cowboys RB Tony Pollard, source confirms.

 first. This obviously signals the end of the Derrick Henry era in Tennessee

I am not that worried about the RB position.  We have Stevenson as top back.  We can fill in around that with non-stars.  Draft someone in the 3rd round or something.  And if Elliot wants to come back, great.

Former Giants RB Saquon Barkley reached agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles on a three-year, $37.75 million contract that could be worth up to $46.75M and includes $26M fully guaranteed at signing, per sources.

Barkley now beats the franchise tag number and has a maximum average-per-year salary of $15.833M, which would be second highest for a RB in NFL History.

There goes our shot in acquiring Kirk.

Patriots were never taking a shot at Kirk Cousins.

And rightfully not. Guy isn't good enough to win a title without a near-perfect supporting cast. There's no point in acquiring guys like that unless you have a truly special team already in place, like the Rams with Stafford.

I don't understand the Packers signing Jacobs and cutting Jones.

Jacob's is better, younger, and probably healthier

He wasn't better last season.  Something like 140 more yards on 90 (!!) more carries.

Wonder who Jerry Jones will pine for?  Jones or Henry?
