Idea:

Philly trades:  Horford, Mike Scott, cash, three #1s

OKC trades:  Chris Paul

Honestly, I can't remember:  how did CP3 and Doc get along?

New Orleans trade: Jrue Holiday

Milwaukee: Eric Bledsoe + Ersan Illysova + Donte DiVincenzo + picks

I want to see Jrue on a winning team and I want to see Milwaukee make the moves needed to keep Giannis.

Dunno, but Doc sure wanted us to trade Rondo for him when he was Celtic coach, IIRC.

Not sure 3 number ones is really necessary.  OKC has more 1st round picks than it can deal with it LOL.  They will control the draft board for years to come.

You should mash this trade with Roy; Chris Paul makes more sense on the Bucks, IMO.

I think that unless Jrue demands out, NOP might keep him around for awhile.  He has shown an ability to start at three different positions, he's a great defender, and he was just voted Teammate Of The Year league-wide.

Doc and Chris didn't end well IIRC.

I fiddled around with CP3 to the Bucks in the past.  As I recall, it was pretty tough to make salaries match without giving up core pieces, or saddling the Thunder with salaries they might not want.

I don't know if OKC would want to do that trade. I'd think that OKC would want an actual prospect for CP3, rather than several picks that will probably be in the twenties and an albatross contract.

Bucks in: McCollum + Ariza + Blazers 2020 first (#16) + Blazers 2022 first
Blazers in: Middleton + Wilson + RoLo (assuming he opts in)

https://tradenba.com/trades/X6Fopdp6i

Fwiw, here's a similar idea from BlazersEdge. Blazers fans seem to be on board with it.

https://www.blazersedge.com/2020/9/4/21423109/portland-trail-blazers-trades-2020-salary-cap-khris-middleton-cj-mccollum-celtics-bucks

Why for the Bucks:
The Bucks need a closer. Giannis is a below average shooter and Middleton is an average shot creator. Time and again, he has failed to deliver in the clutch. McCollum is one of the most clutch players around the league. Imo, he'd be a terrific second option next to Giannis.

Why for the Blazers:
- CJ is a bad fit next ro Lillard. They are both below average defenders.
- They already have a promising replacement at the SG position in Gary Trent Jr.
- Middleton would be a massive upgrade for them over Ariza/Melo.

Pure lunacy with this one, but here goes.

https://tradenba.com/trades/fn33-4p3M

Houston trades: James Harden + Russell Westbrook
Houston receives: Ben Simmons, Aaron Gordon, Evan Fournier, Josh Richardson, Mo Bamba, Matisse Thybulle

Philly trade: Simmons, Richardson, Thybulle
Philly receive: James Harden

Orlando trades: Gordon, Fournier, Bamba
Orlando receives: Russell Westbrook

I smell a huge rebuild coming in Houston, and this leaves Houston with a pretty well-balanced rotation, and gives Philly and Orlando two genuine stars to try and push them into genuine contention.

I had to get one ridiculous one out of the way first ;)

https://tradenba.com/trades/vVm6Gqfqi

Pacers trade: Victor Oladipo, Malcolm Brogdon, Doug McDermott
Pacers receive: Jrue Holiday, Buddy Hield

NOP trade: Jrue Holiday
NOP receive: Brogdon + McDermott

Sacramento trade: Hield
Sacramento receive: Oladipo

If I were Indiana I'd throw whatever picks necessary to try and make this trade stick. Jrue and Hield seem like the ideal back-court pairing, and having all three Holiday brothers would be super cool. The Pelicans get a younger more floor-spacing package, and the Kings get rid of their malcontent and bank on Oladipo returning to form.

https://tradenba.com/trades/4GEH5K1hs

Brooklyn trades: Jarrett Allen, Caris LeVert, Taurean Prince, PHI 2020 1st

Portland trades: CJ McCollum

Gets Portland some actual balance on offence as well as a genuine rim-protector (unlike a certain Whiteside...), and gets Brooklyn their 3rd star.

Honestly, I could make up trades for other teams all day. Going to leave it at that... for now
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

These are some very nice ideas. TP's.

Indiana with a starting line-up Holiday/Hield/Warren/Turner/Sabonis looks really good.
