That's a no brainer. Ill blame the refs, of course, and then Stern. Thats the only way we can lose to the Fakers, with or without the Rapist.

We're predicting losses, and now blame for those losses, even before the games are played?

I'll wait and see.  Strangely, I'm both hoping for, and predicting, a win.

Armagedon! 23,456 trades were recommended in this to Danny over the past few months. He didnt even consider one of them. He even said he was very happy with the team he had. He still have a few hours to trade for Lebron. Not interested in Kobe since he is damaged goods like KG. Get with it Danny; for once in your lifetime, do what we want.!

I'll go with the refs as well.  Anyone know if Leon Wood is planning on gracing us with his appearance tonight?

If the refs are fair and we play a competent game I'll go with DA for not making a move he obviously had available to him and dragging out the big 3 era when it obvious they should have been traded on 6/17/08.

It would depend on the game.

Its silly to predict placing blame when we don't know how the Celtics all play as a unit and as individuals. The bench could get outscored by 40, or the starters could blow a 20 point lead in the fourth, or Paul Pierce could miss 4 FTs down the stretch and allow Derek Fisher to hit a half court heave for the Laker win.

Silly thread...

The Celtics are near full strength and barely won against the Kings.

I don't think that Paul and KG still recovering from injury = full strength.

Blame Kobe.
Give the players some sense of hope coming in to the game and they wont scrap for the win.

As always, the blame for ANY loss goes to the team and the coaches, as does the praise for any win ... basketball is a team sport, and losses are never attributable to just one or two.

How dare you inject common sense into this thread!

In LA, the Lakers won't miss free throws.

With Kobe being quoted as not playing, who do you blame if the Celtics lose this game?

After the last game against the Lakers, losing after leading by double digits, I will blame Doc.

There is something sour about this team that is not known.
The Celts have blown so many double digit leads only to lose games they usually win by 20 or more.

Doc and the Celts need this game more than any game to get their pride, confidence and respect back.

If the Celts get a big lead, and lose again, I would look hard at the way Doc has been mixing the 1st and 2nd units.

Doc took us to the promise land, but maybe he has lost control over all of the veterans.

how about watching the game and see what happens....ur looking to cast blame on something that no one has no idea about bc the game is yet to take place!

and i know this is mindboggling for some people around here as of late....but what if the celts actually win?!

Yeah I'm sure kobe being out has given them the needed confidence to win this game.  They always seem to be lacking confidence...lol

Nate Robinson.  Eddie House would have hit the game winning shot that Paul Pierce misses.
