I am not 100 % on this, but I believe this is how it works.

Initial waivers is normally 2 days, meaning waivers would take place 3am on Wednesday. Players wouln't be on rosters until Thursday. 1 day waivers would clear, Tuesday at 3am, and players would be available on Wednesday.

Oh I sorta see what you are saying. To me they aren't waivers as much as free agents. I'm not sure what he can do about that. I mean technically to us they were waived 2 days ago, but yahoo doesn't know that so not sure how it works at this point

The commish came through on draft day even though he cut things close then. I will have faith in him until he proves otherwise.

At the absolute worst if waivers are an entire day late it's not the worst thing in the history of the league and we'd all be affected the same and that first night of the season only has 4 games and we're talking about end of the bench players

GMs - all of the rosters are up and open for business. Please consult the Yahoo! forums for the most up-to-date information.

We do have a waiver wire crunch issue. I've been experimenting with different settings, and even if I make the waiver period 1 day, Yahoo is wanting to make Tuesday count as that day 1. In other words, waiver claims would be processed on Wednesday. I can't really tell if this has changed in the way Yahoo processes it, since this is my 1st year doing it. But even with continuous waivers (process on Tuesday) as the setting, it's telling me a claim will process Weds (!).

As eja mentioned, this would only affect 3 NBA games and possibly not a single fantasy starter, so I think it will be ok, HOWEVER, I am willing to conduct 1 round of manual waivers if necessary (i.e. GMs would need to send me their claims directly and I'd 'process' them Monday night).
