That trade for Westbrook was a terrible move. Washington made out like bandits.

That and letting Schroder and Caruso go for nothing!

Yeah ,  I ve about decided Westbrook is gonna hurt more team play anywhere he goes than help.  ……I rather have Schroeder, and it’s not even close.

If healthy, and that is a big if, Lebron is a top 3 player in the NBA and Davis is supposed to be a top 5 player (at worst top 10).  You can do a lot worse than that come playoff time and win a lot of games.  Davis seems to be the problem.  He is barely playing like a top 25 guy let alone a top 10 or 5 guy.

I agree on davis. But why is this? I don’t really have an answer. Do you think he is injured? Doesn’t care about regular season or what? He has had so many games where he has been the best player o. The floor by miles and just hasn’t taken over the game.

If this continues then Lebron will find a way to shut down his season like he did his first year in LA.

Even ESPN was saying this and how they were missing a couple players lol

Could be true. But nice to see them suck in the meantime

When you're really cool, and a multimillionaire, and famous playing in La La Land, having to actually defend can be a real nuisance.

This is not the only reason for AD's reduced impact, but I think playing with Westbrook is a large part of it. It's hard to take over a game when you're playing with someone else who dominates the ball so much and looks for his own shot. I thought with Lebron out AD would have more of an impact but he works much better with pass first PGs like Rondo was in New Orleans before he got too old.

Lakers primetime players were there.  C's missing 2 starters.  going to need a lot of time to gel for that team.

ESPN is for the Lakers what Fox News is for Trump

They’re not looking good.  But come the playoffs, if Lebron, Davis, and Westbrook are healthy, I suspect they’ll win.  I also think that level of health is unlikely.

I think it depends largely on Lebron and AD's health in the playoffs as you say, but also on the Lakers ability to trade Westbrook for useful pieces before then.

The broadcast was fine overall. I mean, they were even talking up Grant Williams' improvement this season. But, it was bizarre they kept mentioning how the Lakers were missing Ariza and Nunn - like they are anywhere near as impactful as Brown and TL.

Ariza has not been relevant in years. I really doubt he is in their rotation when healthy.
