Guys, Brooklyn literally has no picks to trade lol It’s a made-up rumor. Unless they’re trading one of their Big three for Beal - which makes no sense for either side - it’s virtually impossible.
Kyrie for Beal makes some sense.

Reports of Nets being bothered by his antics. If bothered enough, cashing in for Bradley Beal is an excellent option. I would do that if I were Brooklyn. Beal is not a nutcase. Easy decision.

Why would WAS trade for Kyrie?

Kyrie would be the best individual talent WAS could get if they trade Beal. Nobody else is as good as Kyrie is. That would be the reason WAS does do this.

He would opt out and bail on them at the end of the season. Makes no sense for them at all, they need draft picks. There's no way there's a Kyrie for Beal trade. Washington would have to be insane, and as others have said, Nets aren't trading Kyrie without Durant's ok.

Yeah this literally just isn't happening.  Washington would have to know Kyrie would leave them high and dry within a year.
then they get nothing for Beal.  It is literally the worst idea knowing how crazy Kryie is and how there is no way he stays there.

Great. He’d come back to Boston as free agent, with all that cap room. LOL.

If Boston knew they could get Beal now in a trade, how does not signing Evan Fournier aid that?

One Evan Fournier around to help rebuild a decimated supporting cast is better than zero Evan Fournier. Plus, he'd be a trade asset to get a PG or a big man to rebalance the squad if necessary.

Could be Stevens wasn't prepared for that possibility, or it could be that Washington told him they didn't want Fournier.

So does anyone know what's going on with Beal besides he and his wife's tweets?

Until Fournier signs with the Knicks, we can negotiate a sign-and-trade with them, where we send the Knicks a pick and we get to use Fournier’s outgoing salary as part of a trade for Beal.  Whereas had we signed Fournier, we could not trade him to Washington until January.

And $18m TPE wouldn't be big enough to absorb Beal and we can't combin it with other salaries to match Beal's money. It could be useful in taking back a big contract off Washington's books to aid a Washington trade - say absorbing the rest of Bertan's contract.

Magic started FA with two centers in Wendell Carter Jr and Mo Bamba. Two young players with some talent. Then went out and added two more centers in Robin Lopez and Mo Wagner. Why?

I hate Orlando.
I said in the "Worst off team" thread that Orlando would be the worst. It's their management team. They have a terrible eye for talent, have trouble developing any talent they get and make the stupidest moves. Living in central Florida, I watch a bunch of Magic games. They are dreadful and will be for years and years.

This take just seems really off. ORL sold off their good, but not great, players for picks and finished off the tank last year. They were rewarded with Jalen Suggs.

Who cares that they signed veteran presence Robin Lopez to a one-year deal, or that they signed Franz Wagner's brother to help ease the transition?

Sure, they aren't going to be great this year, but they have some young talent and an actual direction. Reaching the 7th/8th seed with Vucevic/Gordon/Fournier wasn't cutting it - they did well to get off of those players/contracts.

There are a number of teams who should absolutely do what ORL just did (see: SAS).

It’s not a TPE.  It’s a 3-team deal where we send the Knicks Fournier and compensation for helping, the Wizards prospects and picks, and we get Beal.  If we combine it with the Sac-Hawks trade, we can use Thompson’s outgoing salary as well.

Warriors sign and trade Kelly Oubre for Buddy Hield? Could that be a thing?

They’d have to send out something more (about $4 million) to make the salaries match, but if they do that it’s within the rules.

Felger and Mazz saying Beal might be going to the Nets? They read some tweets from Wizards reporters saying Beal requested a trade and the Nets are a possibility.

Felger knows less about the NBA than a literal ham.

Even honey-baked?

Not sure how accurate this is

ESPN Sources: After medical consultation, seven-time All-Star F LaMarcus Aldridge is seriously considering a return to the NBA this season. Aldridge retired with Brooklyn in mid-April with heart concerns, but is exploring the possibility of resuming his 15-year career.

That's was his draft strategy too.
