Yes this Celtics team has problems.  But it's more to do with construction of the supporting cast rather than the big pieces like Tatum or Brown.

In the offseason DA needs to move on Tristan Thompson, Kemba Walker, and other bench pieces who are not working.

We need better supporting pieces around Brown and Tatum.   We might want to extend Fournier.  But outside of the Brown and Tatum everyone on this team can be traded to improve it.

I do like that Pritchard, Nesmith, and Timelord seem to be good young players that Danny hit on.  But we might need to sacrifice one of them to improve the team in the offseason.

It appears that the players are trying to get the coach fired with their play.  One sees this a lot in the NBA, unfortunately.

I'm not going to give it a click and I'm not subscribed anyway, but 'unlikable' doesn't seem like the proper word here. I actually quite like the personalities on our team; unfortunately we've been extremely disappointing.

Neither do I. The only thing I don't like about this team is their record.

It's been a messed up year. There aren't any malcontents or dirtbags on this team. They are just really young and have had a lot of circumstances beyond their control that have limited them.

I say roll it back during a normal season with a normal length off-season and see what you have then. If by the 40 game mark next year things are much like this year, fire Stevens or blow it all up except the Jays. Whatever it may take to go in a different direction.

But, IMHO, you have to see what you have in a normal year, not this pathetic excuse for an NBA season.

Also, I met Shaughnessy once at a bar. He is as big of a conceited, self absorbed, trollish dink in person as he is in his articles and other media he has participated in over the years. He just isn't a nice guy. Every hatchet job he does on a Boston team, he does with pleasure and a smile because it's his type of reporting.
