Who are some of the teams that are likely to land the second overall pick, and which of them would be interested in swapping our bottom lottery pick for their lottery pick in exchange for Smart, Kemba, Timelord and/or TT?

It sure would be nice to add Evan Mobley or Cade Cunningham to Jayson and Jaylen...or if the Wizards got the second overall pick, send out Brown and pieces for Beal and the number two pick...

The only ways we could possibly move up to #2 would be through the lottery or by trading one if the Jays. Nothing else would be even close in value.

And no, there isn't any way we could get Beal+#2 for Brown, unless we also threw in Tatum
I'm bitter.

I don’t think #10 + Smart + Timelord gets us to #2.

It would be unlikely, but it might very well depend on the team.  A team on the verge that has a bad contract or two might be willing to take a more win now approach while getting out of a bad contract or two.  And some team might prefer Smart and a bunch of future unprotected picks for 2.  Again I don't think either scenario is all that likely

Of course Boston isn't getting a pick in the 10-14 range so it really doesn't matter.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Any chance Cade Cunningham slips into the 20s range on draft night then?

I agree that it's not happening, but it's funny how it may have been possible this past year using Smart and our picks. It was actually appealing to a number of people over on GSW boards, too.

The better question should be: What players are available at pick 10-14?

Haha, feel like that expression might not be very well understood outside of Aus!

That is because GS was the rare team picking that high that could have had a shot a competing for a title the next year.

We won’t get a pick that high. Even when we do no one is willing to trade high lottery pick away. Those are gold. We fool ourselves every year and it never happens.

Yeah.  That trade might have been possible had Klay not torn his Achilles on draft day.  Once that happened, the Warriors weren’t going to make a trade for this season.
