Ainge got his karma for trading away Isaiah. He's getting to witness a undersized guard with sapped athleticism after an injury.

Wasn't getting Kyrie enough of a punishment?

Cs finish a quarter pretty well for a change. Considering how bad we shot, the fact they kept competing is a good sign. Clean that up and hit open shots ... we could steal this one.

Celtics offense:

Give it to, maybe, Brown and let him go iso with his bag of tricks until he runs into traffic or turns it over, then ......
Throw it back out to Kemba, let him put his head down and try to bull his way to the rim, he almost loses it, but ......
Throws it out to Tatum with shot clock at maybe 8 seconds and here we go, the Jayson Tatum 1-on-5 special ......

Such ugly basketball.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Wrist slitters and haters out in force already...we shot 15-43 and 2-17 from 3 and we’re only down by 6. I think we’re in a great position to win this game if we improve our shooting even by 50%.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Remarkable to be down just 6.  That was a terrible half but I'm glad we've reduced our turnovers this game.

Kemba is terrible
I'm not 100% sure about the salary cap implications of cutting Kemba, but in the offseason I think it's entirely warranted from an X's/O'x perspective. He really provides nothing on the basketball court as a playmaker and he's horrible as a defender.

He has 2 years and what, almost $70m left on this deal after this season. Cutting him and eating that salary without a way to improve the roster is a nonstarter.
Lol Kemba is now up there with Chandler Parsons and Nicholas Batum as most worthless players with a max contract

Batum is contributing to the Clippers this year and I'd take him over Kemba right now.

Ainge may have gotten his karma. But if he backed the brinks up for IT he would have been fired by now.
The real answer to the question is take the lesson you learned with Isaiah and not give an undersized guard a supermax to try to fill in for Kyrie when he's not even remotely close to him in skill lol.

Luckily Smart hit that step-back-three and Tatum that last tough shot after Walker passed on two open corner threes!!! His confidence is completely gone it seems. His shot looks wonky as well.

Sure now he is on a vet minimum. In Charlotte he was almost completely worthless lol and was just dead cap for them for like 3 years

Teams have been leaving him open.

Watching True Grit instead of this beat down.

They’re down six. Shooting 2-16 from 3. They definitely have a shot.
