Was just waived by the Grizzlies. Seems like he would make for a good backup 4/5. Plays some defense, blocks shots, makes his free throws, and he's even become a competent 3-point shooter. He's been a reserve for a while now, so wouldn't have a problem with sporadic minutes behind Timelord.

Honestly, he seems like a more realistic option than, say, Andre Drummond or Aldridge. Unless they're holding out hope for a Kelly Olynyk buyout ...

Stunned to find out that he's making $17 million this year, so probably safe to assume that he won't be claimed on waivers.

I like him.  I'd prefer KO, but would be fine with Dieng.  He's better than Green Kornet.

I appreciate your commitment to making this stick, Roy.

I'd take a flyer. I'd prefer him to Drummond. Still hoping that maybe Otto Porter Jr. gets bought out and he has a magical STL connection with Jayson and decides to come here.

I haven't seen him play in a while but I know he has really long arms and he used to be able to block some shots and hit that midrange shot at a good rate.

Hardy Har Har, old boys... who’d you prefer: Olynyk or Dieng? Straight up.
